Great Advice

Hey, thanks for the great advice re: the post on "Advice Wanted." We particularly like the idea of the white or steel planter in the center of the table holding five of something (orchids, etc.). A series of glass vases would work also, but we agree with the need to have several, and always, always in an odd number. Or, actually, almost always---there are times when an even number works, but not here.



We'd also love to hear advice for the Obama family on decorating the White House. They only have a couple more weeks to prepare. What do you think are the most important considerations, especially given that their two little girls will be living in this place that is both enormous and has such a rich and varied past?
