We Love A Contest

The presidential toss-up is long behind us. The Kentucky Derby is but a far-off dream. Meantime, we have designer Patricia Gray's "Winning Wing Chairs" contest. On her blog, she just took a poll on the best of ten chairs.The only trouble is, which one is the absolutely most fabulous, as opposed to just kind of run-of-the-mill terrific?



Is it this Hans Wegner classic, from Suite NY? This chair certainly satisfies the new trend in color (see post below). And the ultra-modern lines are sleek without being cold. As Gray says on her blog, it "was designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1960 and reintroduced in 2006. A modern take on the Scandinavian look."

Or this delight, the Bergère Chair by Autoban for De La Espada, in black walnut or white oak with oiled finish.
