Crafty Design

What do you get when you combine craftsmanship and inspired design?  You get Wunderwurks! a line of non-toxic plastic accessories and lighting fixtures.  Artist Tony Wurman uses EVA -  a type of hotmelt adhesive - to create a rainbow array of bowls, plates, chandeliers, and other home items.

EVA or ethylene vinyl acetate can be melted and formed into an endless array of shapes.  Nothing is wasted in the production process - any leftover EVA is melted again and used for future products.

The Herring Chandelier - pictured below - has a part Victorian, part Gothic flair.  Other light fixtures include table lamps, sconces, and pendant lights.  Check out his site for more information: Wunderwurks.

I really like the going green idea. The designs are nice as well.

Useful information, many thanks to the author. It is puzzling to me now, but in general, the usefulness and significance is overwhelming. Very much thanks again and good luck!

While this subject can be very touchy for most people, my opinion is that there has to be a middle or common ground that we all can find. I do appreciate that youve added relevant and intelligent commentary here though. Thank you!
