Wedding Day Guest Book

For some the idea of the wedding guest book has all but disappeared.  Personally, I love them!  For my own wedding my mother carted my guest book around to my multiple wedding showers and then to the wedding itself.  It was a brilliant idea because now I have all of the well-wishes in one lovely book.  That was six (very short!) years ago and now the guest book is no longer just a book that you sign but anything the bride can think up.  As a wedding planner, I love this!  The more unique the better.  Here are a few fun and unique examples.  Leave a comment telling which you like best, I am curious because I know which is mine.

Hi, I personally like the third book the one with the tree leaves. I think the wedding books are always well accepted by many people yet. regards
What a great idea, way back in 1988 when I was married the only option was for the basic sign in book for guests and I thought that was great but, not very personal. I think when my daughter is married I will suggest that she might want to be more creative. Maybe something along the lines of the leaf design, after all just like a leaf is important to a tree, so are the the people in their lives.

In The Netherlands traditional guest books are less popular and upcoming are the displays with touchscreens that record messages (voice & video) onto the device that will be presented to the newly weds as DVD's later. I'm wondering if this is also the case in the US.

Best regard,
Kristel

I personally liked the Silhouette Weddings design with all the balloons. Who wants a wedding guest book that sits in a drawer or on a shelf to be opened maybe once or twice in the future. It's all about creating artwork that can be displayed for the rest of your years together.

To have a wedding book is a majestic idea and I believe that I will also have one, when the moment comes...
